Ukrainian Su-27 Digital Flanker Camouflage Paint Mask set 1/32

The set includes four sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.
Ukrainian Su-27 is probably the most recognizable Flanker paint scheme in the World. Besides being overly attractive, it is very effective as well, due to the blue colors that are very subtle. They resemble perfectly the sky and the Black Sea colors that are typical for Ukraine and the region. The Digital Flanker gained additional fame from various airshows around the globe, where Ukrainian Air Force demonstrated the plane’s potential. The capabilities of the Ukrainian pilots as well as the maneuverability of the Su-27 left a mark in airshow history and will be remembered as one of the best performers to this date. The Su-27 Digital Flanker will also be remembered as a main figure in the Russian invasion in Ukraine, where it took major part in the Air Defense of the country. Unfortunately the main demo pilot – Grey Wolf – lost his life in Digital Flanker defending Ukraine, the very same Su-27 plane he used to fly at airshows representing his country.
mask set is based on Su-27 single-seat Flanker B in 32nd scale – Trumpeter #02224. It covers two aircraft in detail and high accuracy. Those are bort numbers “100” and “101”. The camo scheme of the latter two is identical and is represented in high-fidelity with this 32nd scale set. Additionally, bort number “58” is added to this set and it can be replicated with some home made masks that are required to alter the areas where the camouflage schemes differ. The differences with “100” and “101” are not significant and with the help of reference pictures, “58” can also be recreated in 32nd scale. It includes the Ukrainian insignia as well. The latter one is only the ones you see on the pictures of the mask set. Any additional insignia should be applied in the form of decals.
