Re-usable die-cut paint masks
The set includes two sheets of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.
Hellenic F-4
deliveries started way back, in 1974. During the decades, different variants of the McDonnell Douglas jet were utilized by the Hellenic Air Force, leading to the ultimate version, the F-4E AUP. It is an upgraded Phantom, with significantly increased capabilities, extended service life and widened armament range. One of the important features of the upgrade is the semi-glass cockpit and new HUD. The AUP Phantoms in HAF are still in use and alongside with South Korea and Turkey are among the last remaining F-4s in usage in the World. The future for the plane is still uncertain, thanx to constantly improving electronics, which can extend Phantom’s life even further.
F-4E AUP
is in service with Hellenic Air Force for more than 20 years. Phantom is used as a multi-role aircraft and participates in most major military exercises and airshows in Greece and abroad. HAF F-4E AUP Phantoms wear specific blue/grey camouflage, similar to the one that HAF F-16s feature. The climate and the salt of the sea areas create easily recognizable appearance. Phantoms in HAF /as well as their Vipers/ look very old, with hardly distinguishable colors, which creates superb canvas for both aircraft and ship weathering techniques. This DN Models camouflage mask set features roundels and the rectangle flag of the HAF insignia.
