Interior and Exterior included
The set includes two sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.
F-35A
Lightning II is the 5th Generation Fighter Jet made by Lockheed Martin Corporation, designed to replace F-16 Fighting Falcon as a main NATO and allied fighter jet. F-35A is already widely in use with several hundred produced, including F-35A, F-35i, F-35C and F-35B. The most widespread model is the A, which is a single seat, single engine jet fighter with wide range of capabilities and planned service life up until 2070s. In total 4000 are planned to be produced, mostly for the US Air Force. Other countries’ Air Forces are joining the F-35 program, with orders predominantly for the A model, but also the STOVL F-35B. The sole model that is planned to remain in US alone is the F-35C, the carrier based variant of the jet.
DN Models’ set
is designed for Trumpeter’s 32nd scale release /#03231/ and any eventual derivatives of the A model. The mask set features masks for the canopy, masks for the EOTS /Electronic Optical Targeting System/ and masks for the wheels. Both interior and exterior are included. Masks are tailored specifically for Trumpeter’s release and are not suitable for other F-35A releases. Although from the same company that made F-35C #03230, this set cannot be used with other variants of the F-35 from Trumpeter. Same goes for the DN Models’ RAM Panels sets, which are individually tailored for specific releases and toolings.
