F-22 Raptor RAM Panels Paint Masks Set for “I Love Kit” 1/48
Suggested scale: 1/48
Suggested kit: F-22A Raptor I Love Kit #62801
Re-usable die-cut paint masks
The set includes six sheets of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.
is the World’s first fifth generation fighter jet. It was made in USA by Lockheed-Martin Corporation. During its production run, little less than 200 copies were made. Raptor was never exported and its sole operator is the United States Air Force. Due to the expensive maintenance and cost per flight hour, F-22 is to be slowly replaced by single-engine F-35 Lightning as well as 6th Generation jet aircraft currently in development. By the experts, F-22 is considered as the very best air-to-air platform, with no losses on the battlefield, just like its predecessor – the F-15 Eagle. F-22 is to remain in service well into the 2030s and possibly even further.
F-22 RAM Panels
is a mask set designed specifically for “I Love Kit” tooling, item #62801. This item compliments other DN Models’ releases, designed exclusively for that same kit, like the F-22 Raptor Canopy, HUD and Wheels Masks. This RAM Panels set is similar to other DN Models’ RAM products, even though on F-22 the panels are not so prominent as with B-2 or F-35 and its sub-variants. This is however, mostly due to their color. Unlike the F-22A Raptor Camouflage Mask Set, which can be used with any F-22 1/48 tooling, the panels here are very specific and cannot be used with other models. Using it with Italeri or Hasegawa quarter scale releases in not recommended.
