Re-usable die-cut camo mask set

The set includes one sheet of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

F-16 in Israeli Service

is probably the most attractive camouflage paint scheme ever applied on a Fighting Falcon jet. IAF jets usually feature more than just an indigenous paint scheme. They are upgraded to a certain standard, including different avionics often made in Israel and dedicated solely to Israeli Air Force usage. Both Sufa and Barkeet are twin seater variants of the Fighting Falcon and both wear similar desert scheme, standard for Israeli Fighter Jets. Similar paint schemes can be found on Israeli A-4s, F-4s, Kfirs,, F-15s and single seater F-16s too.

Desert Camouflage

used by Israeli Air Force became particularly famous with the release of 1985 movie “Iron Eagle” and subsequently – “Iron Eagle II”. Both movies feature Israeli Air Force F-16s with plenty of real-action in-flight scenes. Contrary to the standard adopted by many countries, using single or two tone gray camouflage schemes for their F-16s, Israelis painted the Barket and the Sufa /as well as many others/, specifically corresponding the terrain of the country. They are not only beautiful, but hard to replicate, although in 32n scale, those camoflage schemes are doable with free-hand airbrushing style. In smaller scales /1:48 and especially 1:72/, those camouflage schemes are best replicated with the help of mask sets designed specifically for the desert pattern. DN Models masks sets feature correct paint schemes, usable for both Sufa and Barkeet F-16s in IAF service.
