F-15i Ra’am Camouflage Paint Masks Set + Israeli Stars Stencils 1/32
Suggested scale: 1/32
Suggested use: Tamiya F-15E
The set includes three sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.
F-15I Ra’am
is a variant of Boeing F-15E Strike Eagle designed specifically for the Israeli Air Force. The plane is different than the standard E-variant, most noticeable differences being the nozzles and the camouflage. The latter one is similar to the camo scheme used on F-16i Sufa. The colors as well as the pattern are tailored specifically for the missions that IAF exercises over the desert terrain and the Mediterranean sea. F-15I Ra’am is considered as the most capable and most lethal aircraft in the IAF inventory. The fact that there are more Sufas is dictated only by financial restrictions, but in the end F-15I is the preferred aircraft. As of late 2021, there are rumors that Israel plans to buy more upgraded F-15I in the near future.
Boeing F-15E
Strike Eagle from Tamiya in 32nd scale is the best kit to be used for F-15i Ra’am conversion. The kit is not new, but it is accurate and can be used as a platform to replicate the Israeli Air Force jet. Unlike in smaller scales, Boeing F-15I in 32nd scale is not available as a stand-alone kit. Only conversion is possible, with plenty of options on the market available from the aftermarket producers. Different squadron insignia is available as decals as well. This paint mask set is designed for 32nd scale and features the Israeli Stars stencils.
