The set includes three sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.
DN Models’ Canopy & Windows masks set is designed for HobbyBoss’ #HB81772 Chinook helicopter kit released in the second half of 2021. The set can be used for more than one kit, if masks are carefully removed after painting. Both interior and exterior masks are included in this set. This DN Models’ set covers the different side window options included in the set as well as the landing gear wheels. This set is designed specifically for the A variant, but depending on the other variants released at later point by HobbyBoss, it might suit those as well.
CH-47 is a twin-engine, tandem-rotor, heavy lift helicopter. It was designed by Vertol and is produced by Boeing and it is among the heaviest helicopters used by the West. Chinook was introduced in the early 60s and gain much of its popularity during the Vietnam War. Due to its ability to transport heavy cargo and most importantly latter one being attached below the helicopter itself – the CH-47 became widespread rotorcraft among various air forces around the World. Later variants feature many improvements and the airframe itself proved to be reliable. Surprisingly, the CH-47 Chinook is still in production to this day with new orders being placed despite the age of the design. In addition to the military operators, Chinook is used for civilian services as well, such as firefighting, construction and in the oil industries. CH-47 Chinook is in service and production for more than half of a century.
