Re-usable die-cut paint masks

The set includes five sheets of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

Allied Stars & Crosses

is an airbrush paint masks set made for 1/16th scale vehicles. The set features five sheets of marking variations, suitable for most Allied and Captured WWII vehicles. That includes both armored and soft skin. The masks can be used more than once if carefully applied and removed. In bigger scales, such as 1/16, decals are inappropriate way to create insignia and markings. The weathering techniques that can be used with painted insignia are numerous, while with decals the resulting silvering and decal damage problems accumulate as the scale progresses. The masks also allow for different colors of the insignia, a method sometimes used in winter conditions or where markings are planned to be highly visible.

Captured Vehicles

were sometimes painted with the same stencils as the Allied armor for easier recognition. In other cases, hand-painted insignia was used for the same reason. Even after the end of WWII, there were still captured vehicles kept with the Allied insignia applied on them. Same goes for some armor used in wars closely following the Second World War. For various reasons, the markings were kept as they were originally. This set is designed to be used with 1/16th scale vehicles, despite their origin – Allied or Axis. The main source of information that can help modeling is picture reference and confirmed written information. More often than not, captured Axis vehicles were first painted in US green prior to applying the markings featured in this set.
