Sd.Kfz.166 Sturmpanzer Brummbar – Full Video Build

This is an old project of mine that I drag along since 2016. The kit was at about 90% of its completion two months after the start and that was way back during October 2016. Shortly after, 2 years of hiatus started. I had all the footage and finally decided to take the time and finish the first part of the video, which included the most important parts of the building process.

In the second part, I will focus on the tracks, suspension weathering and different chipping, dirt and mud effects. The kit features very little not-OOB and my initial idea was too keep it that way. However, not everything could be kept OOB in order to complete it and make it look decent. Sd.Kfz.166 Brummbar is available in Early, Mid. and Late versions. In my opinion Brummbar late is very interesting, especially the new Tamiya tooling. Brummbar early on the other hand, offers a lot more for the modeler in terms of weathering and painting variations. This is my attempt with it.

Hopefully you will enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed the build! Sturmpanzer Brummbar is one of my favorite vehicles and I really find it tempting for it to be built in many different options. This kit shown in the video was far from perfect, but I loved it during the building, painting and filming. Now its your time to enjoy!
