Mask set for 1/32 and 1/48 IAF stars

I postponed this project for quite a while, but since I recently started IAF Mirage from the 6 Day War, I needed it to be finished.
This is a set of 12 masks of IAF stars for
1/48 and 1/32 scales. Six for each scale. This features three part mask per star, depending on the painting sequence that modeler is used to.
Building Academy Sufa 1/32, I almost messed up two of my stars, and since I wanted to avoid that to happen again, I decided that stencil for it would spare me a lot of troubles. Besides, many modelers like IAF planes, and since some conversions are made only at home, without aftermarket decals or parts, this would be a nice add-on to the working process.
The star itself can be painted/masked before or after painting the camouflage, depending on how you like its look. Sizes of the stencils are made from comparing few left overs that I have from different decals set, and I must say, it is one of the most accurate sizes out there. If of course, those sets were accurate on the first place. Anyway, these would come handy if making 1/32 or /48 conversion of most IAF planes.
Foil is thin and flexible. Doesn’t leave stains, so its very easy to work with. If carefully treated it can be reused.
I have tried such masks for different insignia before and they work great. They are the same material as my D9 Doobi masks, but instead of masking windows /as for the D9/ they are meant to mask fuselage and wings parts.
Thanx for watching!
